ProTip 2

Coffee Dates

Before you get all hot and heavy with  online dating, you will need to make a few plans. I suggest that you scope out three different places to meet people for a quick coffee. Coffee dates are much easier to arrange than a full date and can be used to verify whether the person you have been chatting with is actually who they say they are.

I suggest at least one place near your job, one close to your neighborhood, and a place to meet someone for your more casual needs.

For the place that is close to your job, you want to make sure that it is far enough from your job that you won’t run into your co-workers but close enough that you can make it back to work in a reasonable amount of time.

If it is more convenient to meet someone before or after work make sure that it is NOT right around the corner from your house. Being to close to your home could pose a potential safety risk.

And, for those times that you might need a little more anonymity, you might want to find a place that is quaint, safe, and would not run the risk of seeing people that you know.

One, Two, Five, Ten, Three

Yep, that’s right, it’s out of order. There was a time in my life that I thought things would happen in a logical order, or like life in those fairytales. The stories were life is all rosy, prosperous, and juuuust fine . . . until you realize that crap isn’t true for you, your friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances, sensual dominant lover, the grocery store cashier, and the guy selling popcorn out of the cart on the corner by your j.o.b.

So, that’s how this blog will go. Out-of-fricking-order. Sit back, add a little extra butter on your popcorn, and enjoy my journey.

Dating Profile

You will delete your online dating profile at least 25 times. Guaranteed. After getting fed up with the coffee dates, dinner dates, endless chatting, scammers, liars, cheaters, and just plan fools, you will be back for more.

So, take it from the pros . . . create a folder on your phone to store all of your “good” dating photos so that you don’t have to scroll through two thousand images looking for that one sexy bathing suit shot from last summer. You will need to periodically review your images to make sure they are representive of your current look.

And, copy and paste your profile information into a text file and save that to your “my files” folder on your phone.
